Raghu was a hardworking and honest woodcutter. They are poor too. His wife is sad because there was no ration in the home. His neighbor came and mocked Raghu's wife for being poor. Raghu told his wife not to worry about the ration and he would cut the wood in the forest and sell it to get the money.
when he went to cut the wood that that tree pleaded him not to cut it and said it's a magical tree and it can help him if he wants anything. Raghu said he needs ration for his home then a magical tree given him the ration. Raghu bought a ration to home and his wife was very happy. when his neighbor saw all the ration, she was wondered how poor people like them got so much ration. The next day that neighbor invited them for his son's birthday party. Raghu's wife again felt bad for not having good clothes to attend a party. Raghu went to the tree again and asked for the saree. The tree gave him a nice saree and jewellery. Raghu and his wife attended the party by wearing those clothes.
His neighbor felt envy by looking nice clothes and jewellery and she thought of observing them how did they get all these luxurious things. so she followed Raghu when he went to the forest to look for a tree and saw that tree has given him something when he asked. so she also planned to ask for jewellery but when the magical tree gave her a jewellery it turned into a snake. she screamed for Raghu to help her. He came and helped her. she thanked him and apologized. The tree always helps Raghu whenever he needs anything.
